Volume one
Chapter nine: An Unexpected Reaction

Yami goes into the computer lab that’s near the student lounge. It’s for students who can’t afford a computer for their dorm or students having issues with their computers. In the back of the room are the printers and a copier. He goes in and sees that no one is there. Yami then walks over to the copier and opens up the top. He goes through the book and copies the most embarrassing stories. He makes several copies and leaves the room once he has enough to put around the school.

After he leaves the computer lab, Yami goes to the school building. He realizes that he doesn’t have any tape post the papers up so he finds a classroom that’s open and takes some. Yami also takes a pencil and writes her name on the diary entries. He then goes around and posts up the diary entries on the walls. Once he’s done, Yami goes back to his dorm.

He gets back to his dorm and opens the door slowly. Yami looks inside and sees Kimiko going around the room lifting stuff up and looking under it. He figures she’s looking for her diary so he puts it behind his back and comes in.

Kimiko sees him and stops looking for it. “Hey, have you seen a little book that’s blue with a sliver lock on it?”

Yami shakes his head. “No, I don’t touch your stuff.”

“Man, I thought I left it on my bed, but it’s not there.”

“What kind of book is it?”

“Like I tell you.”

“Just trying to help.”

She ignores him and turns her back and goes back to looking. Yami walks quickly to the bathroom. He goes in and closes the door. Yami waits for a few minutes and then comes back out.

The prince holds it up. “Is this it?”

She glances back at him and her eyes light up. Kimiko goes over to him and grabs. “Thank you, but I don’t know how it got there.”

Yami just shrugs and goes to his bed. He hops on to his bed and lays down on his side. He closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep. Yami can’t wait to see her reaction.

The next day the whole school is reading the diary entries. They’re laughing at them and the ones who know her laughs at her as she walks by them. Kimiko is confused until she finds one of the entries on a wall. She stares at it and dawns on her what happen to her diary last night. At lunch she finds Yami at their table and she blows off at him.

“How dare you!!!” she screams almost at the top of her lungs.

Yami knows what she’s talking about and smirks. “It’s all part of the election.”

“By playing dirty? That’s low!”

“It was the only way. I’m sure you lost some voters.”

“How dare you!! You know you can’t be great at everything! Some people will be better at some things that you aren’t!” She turns around and leaves the dinning hall. Kimi stands up and goes after her.

Outside the hall she catches up to her. “Kimiko!!”

The demon girl turns around and looks at her. “What?”

“Don’t get back at him. It will only make it worse.”

“But!”

“Trust me.”

“Fine!” Kimiko just goes off to take off all the diary entries that are still up. Kimi follows her to help her take them down.

Thursday arrives and voting takes place in homeroom. As the day goes on the office counts the votes. They make sure everyone votes so each homeroom checks off the students’ names when they turn in their ballot. They found that’s a three way tie with Sean, Yami, and Kimiko. The person who hasn’t cast their vote is Ryoko so they find her at lunch and make her vote. When she gets back from voting the others ask her what happen and she tells them why. They ask her who she picks, but she won’t tell them. At the end of the day they go into the auditorium to hear the results.

They announced the lesser positions first and then the vice president. They then have the candidates for the class president come up on the stage for the results. Matsuki reads the ballot and says, “The winner is !-- /* Style Definitions */ , , {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} 1 {page:Section1;} -- O’Brian Sean.”

The place claps and Sean gets up to the podium. He thanks the class and tells them he’ll do his best. He then sits back down and the principal dismisses everyone. Once the crowd begins to thin out, Yami jumps off the stage and goes over to Ryoko. He doesn’t look too happy.

“Ryoko, how could you!” he says to her.

“I’m sorry onii-chan. I couldn’t decide between you or Kimiko-chan. So I picked Sean,” the demon princess explains to her brother.

“But I’m your big brother! Family first over friends!”

“Oh, stop being a sore loser,” says Sang.

The prince turns around and sees Sang standing there. “I am not!”

“Yeah you are. If you can’t win at something you pout,” she says.

“So do you.”

“Not like you besides I never wanted that position anyway. I just wanted to cream you that’s all so it’s no big deal to me.”

Yami folds his arms across his chest and looks away angrily.

“See. You pout.”

“Okay then why were you mad when you were down in the polls?” he asks her.

“Like I said wanted to beat you.”

The prince pouts more angrily and Sang smirks. “Ha, I win.”

Then Kimiko, Kimi, Eric, and Flora join them. Kimiko is more upset seeing how Yami’s horrible trick on her cost her the election. She walks by him and steps on his foot. The prince makes and noise and she leaves.

“Ow, what’s her problem?” says Yami.

“Well, I don’t know. You spread her diary around the school,” Kimi answers him.

“Whatever. She’s always a bitch to me anyway.”

Kimi just rolls her eyes at him and leaves.

Yami just sits down on a chair and sighs. “I really wanted to win.”

“I’m sorry onii-chan. I didn’t know you had so much passion for this,” says Ryoko.

“Well, yeah if some of our grandfathers were class presidents I wanted to live up to that,” he says.

“Ha!” says a voice. Yami looks up and sees his father standing there. “I lied about that.”

“What!” cries the prince and leaps up from the chair.

“I lied about that and I was also never class president. I just said that stuff so you would be inspire to get involved in school.”

“Dad I do try! But every sport team turns me down…”

“You’re too competitive for them.”

“Even for the chess team?”

“They turned you down?”

Yami nods his head and Eric starts laughing at him. The prince punches him in the shoulder and he shuts up.

“Well, I’m glad you at least tried. You got way more votes then I did.”

“How many did you get?” he asks his father.

“One.”

“One? Who voted for you?”

“Fai.”

“Mom didn’t?”

“Nope,” says Yami’s father. “Well, I must go. I just came here to see who won. Bye Ryoko and Yami. I’ll see you guys on your birthday.” The ruler then leaves.

Yami leaves as well and as he goes back to his dorm Flora is following him. He smells her scent and turns around. “What is it?”

“You know did a horrible thing to Kimiko,” answers the human girl.

“So, she’ll get over it.”

“I’m surprised she didn’t kill you in your sleep since you two are roommates.”

“I slept in Eric’s room. But I’m going back to my room tonight. She should be over it by now.”

“Well, watch it though. Karma might get back at you,” she says then walks ahead of him.

Yami watches her walk away for a few seconds and continues on. He doesn’t believe her and forgets about the election.

A week goes by since the election and everything seems okay. Kimiko is still sore about Yami posting parts of her diary all around the school during the campaign so she’s busy trying to think of a come back. One day she is sitting on the school roof after classes alone. She’s leaning against the gate that surrounds the roof. Kimiko keeps hitting the back of her head against it. She can’t think of anything to get back at Yami. She stops slamming her head when she sees Kimi coming up the stairs.

Her friend walks over to her and sits down next to her. “Hey, what are you doing up here?”

“Thinking,” answers Kimiko.

“About what?”

“Well, I’m still mad at what Yami did to me during the election,”

Her friend rolls her eyes at her. “Still? People forgot about it when you guys all lost to Sean. Does it matter anymore?”

“Yes! They may have forgotten about it, but I won’t forget how much I was humiliated.”

“You’re really serious about this aren’t you?”

Kimiko nods her head.

“I guess I can’t stop you, but how are going to embarrassed him?” her friend asks.

“I don’t know!” cries the demon girl. “I’ve been thinking about this since the election was over and I’ve come up with nothing.”

“I’m not helping you with this.”

“But why!!”

“Because he’s my cousin,” answers Kimi. “I’m not going to hurt his reputation just because I’m your best friend.”

“Again when this cousin thing.”

“You wouldn’t understand how much ruining his reputation would hurt him,” says her friend.

“Like it did to me? That’s the point of getting back at him to make him understand that humiliating people is bad.”

Kimi just gets up. “An eye or an eye gets the whole world blind.” She then leaves.

Kimiko sits there and wonders what her friend is talking about. She just shrugs it off and goes back to thinking. The only thing she can come up with is that she needs to find something of his that would embarrass him. The only way she that she can do that is when he’s out the room for a long period of time.

One weekend Yami and his siblings go home to celebrate the triplets’ birthday. This gives Kimiko an opportunity to go through the prince’s stuff without getting caught. She is sitting beside his bed and is going through the drawers in his nightstand. Kimiko is going through his stuff like crazy and throwing everything everywhere. Nothing catches her eye until she finds a red folder burry at the bottom of the bottom drawer. She grabs it and then closes the drawer and opens the folder up. Inside are a ton of drawings. Kimiko glances through them and looks amaze at all of them. The drawings are so good they almost look real.

She puts the folder back and the other stuff as well. Kimiko then gets up from the ground and sits down on her bed. She’s wondering if these drawings would mortify him. She can’t make up her mind and decides that she needs to look more into his artistic skill.

The following Monday is a B day and at 12:45 Kimiko has a special class to her own. She’s the only person in the realm that has holy powers so she has to learn on her own to control it. Matsuki trusts that she’ll treat this period as a class instead of a study hall. To see if she’s actually practicing she has one of the power teachers test her skills every Friday after school.

Kimiko feels bad about doing this, but she has to skip her own class to find out more about Yami’s drawing skills. She walks around the school to find what class the prince is in during this time. Kimiko wonders if he’s taking a fine arts class seeing how he can draw. She goes over to the fine arts wing of the building.

She enters the wing and glances through every classroom door window. The demon girl stops walking when she sees Yami in a classroom. She quickly ducks when Flora passes by the door. She waits for a few seconds and then slowly pokes her head up and glances through the door window. She sees that Flora is talking to Yami so she ducks back down and presses her ear against the door. The demon girl now can hear their conversation.

“Hey! That’s very good!” Flora says quite loudly.

“Shh!” Yami tries to hush her. “Don’t let people hear you.”

“Why not?”

“I thought I told you the day you transfer into this class that I don’t want people to know I take this class,” says Yami.

“I wasn’t listening.”

“Well, I’ll say it again. I don’t want other people to know I take this class.”

“What did you tell other students in this class?” Flora asks him seeing that he’s being stupid to hide the fact that he takes art.

“The fine art credit.”

“Or you actually take this class because you like art and you’re good at it,” the human girl says.

“Fine! I do! Just don’t’ tell anyone, okay?”

Flora doesn’t bother to say anything and walks back to her seat. She sits down and continues her drawing. She really thinks it’s pointless that he’s hiding his talent. Flora believes if you have a talent then you show it. She plans to tell Yami that later, but will lay off it for awhile seeing how she annoys him so much.

Kimiko pulls her ear away and smiles to herself. She now can get back at the prince by letting everyone know that he’s good at art. She crawls away and gets back up the floor when she’s far away enough. Kimiko then goes off to think about how to expose his secret.

The demon girl thinks about it for the rest of the day and finally comes up with something. She’s going same thing as Yami. The demon girl is going to post all his drawings all over the school.

That following morning Kimiko gets up extra early so he doesn’t see her taking his drawings. She’s so glad that he’s a heavy sleeper. She gets dress and after that Kimiko gets his art folder. She then leaves and on her way out she gets a stapler and some tape to label his name on the drawings. Kimiko goes to the school building and starts to staple some of his drawings on the strip of cork board. Once she’s done she goes back to her dorm room to get her school belongings.

Later on Yami actually wakes up in time and he gets out of bed and gets ready for school. Once he’s ready he grabs his school bag and leaves for breakfast. As he’s walking to the dinning hall some people snicker as he goes pass them. Yami stops walking and wonders why they are trying not laugh.

The prince keeps standing there wondering what’s going on until his cousin runs up to him. She comes up from the behind and grabs a hold of his shoulder. That startles him and Yami turns around and sees his cousin standing there with a horrible look on her face.

“What’s wrong?” he asks her.

Kimi doesn’t say anything and grabs his hand. She then drags him off to one of the hallways of school. She keeps dragging Yami until they reach one of his drawings. He gets out her grip and walks closer to his drawing. Yami can’t believe his eyes and turns to face Kimi.

“What’s this doing here!?” he almost screams at her.

His cousin shakes her head. “I don’t know. I was going to homeroom early to finish some homework and I saw that hanging there.”

“Those people who were trying not to laugh…”

“Probably saw that. And Yami, I think there’s more of your drawings posted around the school.”

“What!”

“After I saw that I went down another hallway and saw another one. So I’m assuming that someone found your drawings and put them all around the school,” replies Kimi.

“This is not good. How did someone find my red folder? I had it hidden in my room,” says Yami in a panic voice.

“Well, someone had to know you took art and like it.”

“Ryoko, Roko, Sang, and Eric would never tell anyone. I know you wouldn’t either.”

“Then who would it be?”

It hits Yami and he walks off. Kimi follows right behind him and they go back to the dinning hall.

He enters and goes straight to the table they always sit at. Yami sees Flora sitting there talking to Sang minding her own business. He stops at the table and gives her a nasty look. She sees that and looks confuse.

“What’s wrong?” asks Flora.

“Don’t play stupid. I know what you did,” he says very rudely.

Flora just stares at him.

“I know you posted all my drawings around the school.”

“What! I did no such thing!”

“That’s what you want me to think. You want to show people that I like art. Why didn’t you listen?” he asks her.

“Yami, again I didn’t do it. I didn’t even know you had a collection of drawings. And if I did I wouldn’t be able to get into your room. I don’t have a key,” Flora answers truthfully.

The prince stands there and says nothing. She does have a point and if she actually knew he has drawing then the only way she could get into room is if Kimiko let her in. Then it hits him that if Flora or his friends didn’t do it then it’s only means one person did it.

“Pushy girl, did you tell Kimiko about my talent?” he asks her.

The human girl shakes her head. “No, I told no one. I don’t tell people about other people’s secrets.”

“But it has to be her…,” Yami says to himself.

Kimiko walks over to the table with a tray of food in her hands. All eyes go on her and she ignores it and sits down next to Sang. She just eats her food like there’s nothing bad happening.

The prince turns his attention to her. “Kimiko, did you show everyone my artwork.”

Kimiko turns and looks at him. There’s no use in lying to him. “Yes.”

Yami just stares at her like he’s going to kill her. Sang jumps to her feet and holds her friend back before he actually tries to kill Kimiko. “Why did you do that!? My drawings are personal!!”

The demon girl gets to her feet. “Oh, so my dairy entries aren’t personal? I had every right to get back at you.”

“People forgot about that! Let it go!”

“No!” Kimiko yells at him. “People may have forgotten about it, but I haven’t! Now, you get a taste of your medicine!” She then takes her food and goes off to another table to be alone.

Yami makes Sang let of go him and he goes off to find all his drawings.

Sang takes her seat. “I had a feeling she would eventually get back at him. I didn’t image she would do such a thing.”

“During the election I told her fighting dirty isn’t always the right thing to do,” says Kimi. “She listened to me then, but I guess since it’s over now that it doesn’t matter anymore.”

“Probably,” says Flora. “I told him that karma would get back at him for what he did.”

“They’re a bunch of idiots,” says Sang. “Which makes them perfect for each other.”

The human girl perks up from her seat. “You notice that he likes her?”

Sang nods her head. “Yeah, me and Eric did earlier, but I don’t think it’s going anywhere. Something needs to happen to make him like her more.”

“Like this?” Roko says sarcastically.

“Not like this,” Sang says and rolls her eyes at him. “Flora, have you notice that he calls you pushy girl and he calls Kimiko by her name.”

The human girl nods her head.

“You see Yami only calls people by their names if he likes them,” says the wolf demon girl. “That has to be sign that he has a crush on her. It’s not a big one, but it’s there.”

“That would make sense,” says Flora. “But, just saying her name can’t prove it. There has it to be something else.”

“True.”

“You guys probably want to wait on playing cupid because right now those two want to kill each other,” says Eric.

“Fine, but are you up for it?” Sang asks Flora.

The human girl nods her head. “It sounds fun.”

Meanwhile, Yami is going around looking for drawings as fast he can. He’s has a few left to take down, but the bell rings. He has no choice, but hurries to homeroom. Yami doesn’t want to make Mr. White angrier at him. He goes to the classroom and makes it just in time. Yami then takes his seat. As homeroom goes on some people are talking about him very quietly, but he still hears. Yami sinks down in his seat.

This goes on all day. Now, not everyone one is making fun of him just some people. A few people call him a sissy for like art because since Yami acts so tough it’s hard to image him liking art. These people make the prince believe that everyone is mocking him. Yami makes a big deal out everything when it comes to his reputation.

At the end of day he finally gets all his artwork down. He bends down on the ground and places them in his school bag. Once they’re in his bag, Yami gets up from the floor and goes back to his dorm.

He gets to his room and there’s no sign of Kimiko anywhere. Yami just throws his bag on his bed and takes out his drawings. He goes through some of them and notices some them are bent at the corner of the paper and some of them hard to pull off the tape that has his name on it.

“She ruined them,” he says to himself angrily. “How dare she!” He puts them back into the red folder and just leaves it on his bed.

The prince then walks over to her side of the room. “I’ll show her. If she wants to fight fire with fire then so be it.” He looks around for her diary and sees that she place it somewhere else. He eventually finds it under her mattress.

“Yes! I’ll just show more of her entries!” he says to himself happily. Then there’s a knock on the door. He quickly puts back the diary and goes over to the door. He opens it and Flora is standing there.

“What do you want? I’m kind of busy,” he says.

“I was just seeing if you were okay,” Flora answers.

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“You sure? You were upset all day. I notice that your temper last for a very a long time.”

“For your information it doesn’t now leave me alone,” Yami says is about to close the door, but Flora catches it. She then comes into the room.

“Why is Kimiko’s side of the room messy?” she asks him when she sees the mess. It quickly dawns on her and she turns to Yami. “Are you getting back at her?”

“Yes, now leave.”

“Yami, that will only make this worse,” says the human girl.

“I don’t care. My drawings are personal. To me it’s like a journal. It’s how I express my feelings,” the prince says and turns his back to her.

Flora looks back at Kimiko’s side and then looks at his. She notices the red folder on his bed and walks over to it. Flora then picks up the folder and opens it. She sees his drawings and looks at all them. Once she’s finish looking at them, Flora puts the folder back down on the bed. She somewhat has a better understanding of him.

“Yami, you don’t like to show people how you feel because you’re afraid how they’ll react to your feelings,” she says and looks back at him.

Yami’s body goes stiff.

Flora sees that and knows she’s right. “You expect everyone to make fun of you so naturally you hide everything about yourself so no one can laugh at you.”

Yami makes a fist in both of his hands and turns to face her. “You know nothing! Now, leave! I can do what I want! And if I want to get back at Kimiko then I will!”

Flora just shakes her head. “An eye for an eye makes a whole world blind.”

“Oh, don’t use proverbs on me.”

“That’s not a proverb.”

“Leave!” shouts Yami and he points to the door.

Flora doesn’t argue and leaves. There’s no way she can stop him.

The next day Yami skips homeroom and places print out copies of Kimiko’s dairy entries. He instead of posting a few Yami makes copies of all them. He also makes so many copies that they’re scatter across all over the floors of the hallways.

The bell rings and people leave their homeroom. Yami is standing outside his with a smug look on his face. He can’t wait to see Kimiko’s reaction. His homeroom’s door opens up and his classmates file out. They notice the papers on the floor and some pick it up and read it. Kimiko is last one to come out.

Yami can’t help, but to laugh at her and says, “This is what you get with messing with me.”

Kimiko looks confuse. The prince points to the floor and she sees all the papers. Kimiko then bends down and picks one up. She reads it and her face turns bright red.

“I win,” says Yami with a smirk on his face.

Kimiko says nothing and her hand with the paper in it beings to shake. She then crumbles up the piece of paper and throws it on the ground. Kimiko walks over to him and attempts to punch him.

Yami has a binder in his hands and uses it to protect himself. She punches it and just stands there. Yami moves the binder down to a point where he can see her face. He notices there are tears in her eyes. She then runs off.

The prince turns around and watches her run away. He then notices his cousin standing there with a disappointed look on her face.

“Way to go,” she says. “You ruin her image forever great job.” She then goes off to find Kimiko.

The prince looks down at the ground. The feeling of victory fades away and he now feels guilty. He doesn’t understand why he feels this way.

Meanwhile Kimi finds Kimiko sitting under the tree by the lake crying. She walks over to her friend and sits down next to her. Kimiko hears her and looks at her. Her face is red from crying.

“Hey,” says Kimi.

“You were right. I should have never got back at him. But, I don’t understand why he reacted that way. How are drawings worse then someone’s journal? I thought he would just yell at me for his showing his hidden talent.”

Kimi is about to say something, but she sees Flora standing in front of them. Kimiko wonder why her friend isn’t answers and looks up. She also sees the human girl standing there.

“What are you doing here, Flora?” Kimiko asks her.

“I saw what happen between you and Yami,” she answers. “I know it’s rude to listen to other people’s conversations, but I know why he did that.”

“Why?” the brown hair girl asks her.

“Because, Kimiko Yami’s draws to express himself like you do with your journal. It’s how he shows his feelings.”

Kimiko looks down at the ground in shame. “This is all my fault.”

“See what playing dirty does?” Kimi says.

The brown hair girl nods her head. “Yeah. I had no idea that’s why he draws. I just thought it was hobby he hid from people because he doesn’t want to show his soft side.”

“Maybe you should go apologize to him,” says Flora.

Kimiko nods her head and wipes her eyes. She then gets up and goes back into the school. She gets inside the building and goes back to the classroom that their homeroom is in. Then it hits her that first period is going on. She stops walking and goes on to her class. She’ll apologize to Yami in their first class together.

Their first class together is English class although Mr. White is their homeroom teacher it’s in a different classroom so Kimiko gets there as fast as she can. She arrives to the classroom and sees Yami is walking in. She calls to him and he stops walking. He looks at her and waits for him to catch up to him.

“Yami,” she says when she approaches him.

“If your here to yell at me then go ahead,” he says.

“Huh?”

“I deserved it.”

“No, I’m here to..,” she begins to say, but is cut off.

“Yami,” says the voice.

They turn in the direction of the voice and see the principal standing there. He waves his finger at Yami to follow him. Yami obeys and goes with Matsuki to his office. Kimiko follows them as well, but slowly so they don’t notice her.

In Matsuki’s office Yami takes his seat, but the principal is in front of Yami leaning against his desk. The prince looks down at the ground in shame.

“Yami, I’m guess you were the one that spread her diary around again,” he says.

The prince looks up. “You knew?”

“Yes, but I found out about after the election was over from students talking about it in the hallway. I didn’t do anything because I thought it wouldn’t happen again, but I obviously I was wrong,” Matsuki answers.

Yami looks back down at the ground. “I did it again because she showed everyone my art work so I got mad and got back at her.”

“Ah, an eye for an eye.”

“Matsuki, what does that mean?” the prince asks him.

“That means when some one strikes you, you strike back and it can go on forever. Revenge can affect everyone.”

“Oh.”

“Yami, do you know what I must do?” the principal asks him.

The prince shakes his head.

“I’m afraid I’m going to have to expel you. What you did is really against the rules. And you did it twice.”

Yami is about to say something, but Kimiko comes bursting into the door. She walks over to them and bows her head. “Please, don’t do that! It was my fault! You should punish me!”

Matsuki looks baffle. “What are you doing here?”

“Sorry, but I was waiting outside your office and I was listening. Your secretary was isn’t in the room.” She then looks up. “Please don’t expel Yami. If I didn’t posted his drawings through out the school this would have never happen. Punish me.”

“Kimiko, you were the victim.”

“And so was he!”

Matsuki just smiles at her and shakes his head. “Man, I am too soft. Alright, I’ll let him off the hook, but you get detention for a week. Yami, you do too, don’t think I’m not giving you a punishment because of her. Now, get back to class. Do you both have Mr. White this period?”

The two nod their heads.

“Alright, go ahead. I’ll call him and explain why you two were late.”

Yami and Kimiko both leave the office and head back to class. As they’re walk it’s very quiet between them. Yami can’t take the silence and stops walking. Kimiko notices he isn’t walking beside her and stops as well. She just looks at him.

“Kimiko, listen. Thanks for doing that for me. I’m umm so..,” he says and tries to say he’s sorry.

The girl just smiles at him. “You’re welcome and apology accepted. I’m also sorry about what I did.”

“It’s okay. I just made a big deal out of it. But this doesn’t change anything!”

Kimiko can’t help, but laugh. “Yeah, you’re still a royal brat.”

“And you’re a street rat,” he says and also can’t help, but laugh.

The girl slightly punches him in the shoulder and runs off to class. Yami just stands there and watches her run off. He then feels that warm feeling inside of him like on their first day of English class. Yami just smiles to himself and follows right behind her. He’s starting to like that feeling.

AN: Surprise! Almost back to back update!! I’ll most likely never do this again because I like giving chapters some space and so you don’t have to read too much at once. Well, I hope you like this chapter. Yami and Kimiko are starting to get close, but how long will this last? Who knows! You’ll just have to keep on reading! Thanks for reading and the reviews!
