Behind his mask he watches the world

All the people rushing and scrambling around

The people making the best of the little time they have

And he feels out of place

Distant and far away from everyone else

He feels like he doesn’t belong

He’ll never fit into this world so strange to him

He wants interaction with people

He’s afraid to show his true self

Afraid of rejection

Scared and alone, He goes into himself

His emotions never show

His mask is there to protect him

So he sits and watches the world go by

It’s the only way to pass time.
