petals of my sincerity

- - -

I'm not as sharp as they say I am,

or you're just too devious for me.

Am I being fooled right now?

I don't know; your words are especially sweet today.

- - -

Is there something you should have?

The best things I can offer are the memories we've made, cemented into my heart.

I will give you every beautiful thought that has ever flowed into me.

I will give you only the warmest feelings that have ever crossed my soul.

- - -

I don't care if you're lying to me; this is better than any reality that exists.

There's no doubt of your insincere praise, but I don't mind.

The warmth of your hand feels so real anyway,

and that smile—so disgustingly genuine—what does the truth matter?

- - -

How about these gorgeous lilies?

They're all yours, until the day I wilt away.

That day, I will entrust my heart to you

and the last of the joy I so selfishly kept to myself.

- - -

From now on, promise that you'll live for me peacefully...

Please return my sincerity.

- - -

Am I finally doing a favor for you?

You, who gave me real happiness, although every gesture was fake;

won't you see how wonderfully I felt?

Won't you laugh at me, if it would give you pleasure too?

- - -

Lies, lies, lies spill out of your mouth.

Don't do that; you'll make them rot.

- - -

The memories we created, cemented into the earth, are proof,

even if you won't believe them.

And if the lilies die,

maybe, just maybe, this illusion will become reality...
