She tossed a ball to the moon.
It bounced back with a whoosh!
She missed.

She tossed a ball to the stars.
It went up! Up! Up!
Then back way down there.
She missed.

She tossed a ball to the sun.
It got warmer, warmer, frozen.
She missed.

She tossed a ball to the clouds.
It whizzed by gathering nothing. Poof!
She missed.

Then, she tossed a ball to the sky.
It went high into space never to return.
She went too far and lost.

She tossed a ball to a tree.
It bounced on big branches into her target up high.
She fluked, but still lost.

Finally, she tossed a ball to her friend.
It stayed put, then returned like a boomerang.
They did it.
Neither missed.
