My School My Life My Story
Introduction
The name’s Jacob. Jacob Johnson, in fact, and for the past few years life has been pretty hectic. My school is much different from everyone else’s. We don’t see each other everyday and we barely live close to each other. The reason we don’t see each other is that my school meets once a week. Only 4 classes and the only extra curricular activity is band. These kids mostly do not want to be there. It’s sort of funny though because I used to hate showing up every week but going has grown on me. I used to fight it but I gave up so I make the most of it. I can’t think of my life without my school.
So the people there are your average people. You got your preppies, your gangsters, band geeks, and your average everyday people. Well everyone there is basically Filipino so as average as we get. Where do I fit in here? Sure I am in the band but I’m no good so not really a band geek. I’m nothing close to a preppy or gangster. I try to act gangster but it’s kind of hard with my name. Jacob Johnson? What kind of name is that?
As for my friends, I only have a few that are really true friends that will stick with me until the end. We love to irritate each other, whether by poking each other or by insulting each other we are the best of friends, so it seems. A few years back all this started. All the drama, all the insanity, all the chaos.
First Day
So it’s the first day of class. Every year the people who go week in and week out hope for new people. This year a new girl, Chenelle, came into our age group. We started to talk to her. She seemed like an OK girl, more on the white side than Filipino but we were didn’t care. On the first day everyone has to introduce themselves even though almost everyone knows each other. It gets kinda old but we do it anyways. We all start yelling out our names. “Jacob!” “Chenelle” “Erica!” “Christina!” “Kristina!” “Gina!” everyone gets confused with Christina and Kristina. Gina is just an annoying girl who doesn’t know anything but thinks she does. A few hours into the day, it started. It just had to start. Before this day we were all so little and had no ideas of liking people. It was all just friends until that day. Chenelle told Erica that she liked one of my friends Karl. None of us knew what impact this would have. At first we ignored it. Who knew what we were in for?
