Waiting For You

I was in slumber, dreaming of you within the dark walls
And I was dressed in a night-shift, waiting for you to come home
After you’ve been away, for way too long
For me to sing your favourite song
I walked out the balcony, you once held me close
Searching for your shadows, to come out of the woods
As I feel nothing but despair, and I’ve lost all hopes
To think you’re alive, battling what you believe in
While I am here, thinking of what might have been
My head is spinning around, praying for you to come back
And my heart is crushing every minute, without his luscious kiss
I am afraid I can’t do this, as I am worried sick
What if you passed? What if you can’t make it?
What if our child, could never see you?
What if my heart, would beat only for you?
However, I am sure you’ll come back in my arms
and you shall devour me with your amazing charms
