Gasping for air, clinging onto any last threads of life that the three Fates hadn't yet cut. Outstretching his hands, his pale hazel eyes fell on his boney, skeletal fingers that dripped with crimson paint. Feeling its warmth cascade down his fingers and drip onto him, he realized in horror that he was splattered with blood. Looking down-- more out of necessity than interest-- he said the gaping wound in the left side of his chest. Blood gushed from the opening, dying his front of his pale T-shirt.

Sparks started flying in his vision as his life steadily faded away. Staring up at the woman above him, his hand shook from both weakness and terror. Why did you do that...?" He choked out.

She sneered down at her prey. Raising her elevated boot, she pressed her heel to his chest where his wound lay. Pressing hard into his body, he gasped and cried out in pain. "Stop!" He screamed; pleading for her mercy. At each cry, she only lavished more injury upon him. "Wha- what did I do--"

"To deserve this?" She scorned, putting more weight on him. He winced and hissed as more pain errupted from that very spot. "You did everything." She spit on him after releasing her hold over his body. "You betrayed me. And with that comes heavy penalties." Holstering her weapon, she turned and left her once lover to his death.
