Risika

I was a girl with such promise

A Christian in her own home

I should’ve known

I shouldn’t have had so much tolerance

A witch had changed me

I wish I had the way

To know the coming of the day

That I was to be a monster

Red, deep crimson

Had flooded my thirst

To satisfy, I first

Must feed

Deep dark eyes

Pure white face

It stung like a mace,

This new me

Especially the size

Of deaths

I knew I was always damned

I had to ban myself

Of my home

For I was a vampire
