Run

Opened my eyes today
To find myself in another place.
Fixed on a trail of your footprints
From where you ran away.
Seems everything they said just might be true.
And I know you,
Well, I think I do.
You always made feel everything,
Yet now I wish I felt something.

Do you know how far you have gone?
Do you know the damage you’ve done?
When I think I can overcome,
You run even deeper

In those memories I keep so close to me,
Just a perfect you.
We fit perfectly.
And for once in my life the puzzle felt complete.
And you still had to ruin it.
Afraid to live another day,
Your plan had long been underway.
I hear your voice,
Beg you to stay,
Inflict the pain and run away.

Do you know how far you have gone?
How much damage you have begun?
When I think I can overcome,
You run even deeper.
Mirrors are shattered, faces are gone.
All the hope you gave me, withdrawn.
All alone from sunset til dawn.
You run...

Must stay straight.
I can’t crack.
On my way.
Can’t turn back
I’m okay.
Stay on track.
On my way.
And I cant turn back.
You coaxed me
Onto this track.
Brought too far,
And I cant come back.
I stayed
On this track.
Lost my way.
Cant come back.
