"But I always thought I was drowning,"
in life,
because with every success
came three more failures.
I felt no pride,
no joy at all.
so why do I bother to live then,
when I know I am drowning,
because,
every so often,
I can breathe
underwater,
a glimpse of hope
and at last
I am at peace again,
I am living,
Once more.
(and that makes all the difference in the world.)
