This is a story of a girl

A girl who didn't have any dreams

A girl who had no reason to live

A girl who had nothing at the end of the day

All her life she's been pretending

All her life she's been lying

All her life she's been unhappy

She hides your feeling with mask

She hides everything behind the unknown mask

Hiding her sadness

Hiding her loneliness

Hiding her sorrow

Hiding her fear

Hiding it all behind the unknown mask

Her life was normal

Dad never there

Mom to caring

Her family loved her

All but her father

But she couldn't complain

She had it easy

She had it good

But she was never happy

And nobody knew

She always smiled

And put up walls

Hoping someone would see her through

Hoping someone cared enough

To knock those walls to the ground

Her friends who even though they didn't know

Had managed to crack those walls

But could not shatter them

She loved her friends with all her heart

But the walls were to strong

She smiled

She laughed

She could bring happiness to just about anyone

She could make just about anyone enjoy themselves

But she couldn't make herself happy

She always would always act like nothing was wrong

Just so her friends wouldn't worry

Just so her family would be happy

That's all life was to her

An act

A lie

She had friends...

She had family...

But she could live without all those things

She'd be okay alone

So at the end of the day...

She had nothing

She truly did have nothing at the end of the day

But she could not die

And she could not leave

She couldn't do that

She couldn't hurt her friends like that

She couldn't hurt her family like that

She just couldn't do that

God sent her here to make others happy

Even if it meant she couldn't be

So far so good

Even when she had no reason to get out of bed in the morning

She did

She still does

Because she's stronger then that

People called her names

She was a loner

Surrounded by her friends...

Did any of them ever notice?

Did any of her friends notice?

She never joined in their fun

She never joined in their games

She only watched from a distance

Did any of her friends notice?

That she didn't smile when she was alone

That the happiness that should be in her eyes

Was never there

That her eyes were always filled with sadness

And sorrow

And loneliness

People called her names

She wasn't the smartest kid in the class

She wasn't the prettiest

But she was normally the nicest

Did her friends ever notice?

How hurt she was

People called her names

Without really knowing her

But she never went around talking bad about anyone

Sure, she said that she didn't like curtain people

But did she ever talk bad about any of them?

Did she ever call them names?

Like they did to her

She was out to make something for herself

She was out to be famous

Then she'll be known

And she'll have it all

But she still won't be happy

She didn't need anything to exist

She was perfectly fine all alone

Unlike most of us

She could fight on her own

Most of us couldn't last 2 hours all alone

So you see

She's not like us

But she is

But people never noticed

Her friends never noticed

They were suppose to know her best

Yet they really didn't know her at all

They said that they cared

Yet they never noticed how hurt their friend was

All people saw the same thing

All her friends saw the same thing

She smiled

She laughed

She could cheer anyone up

But she herself was crying inside

And her friends didn't even notice...

So next time you say you know someone

Your best friend even

Look again

Is this them

Is this her

Look around at the friends you have

Especially the ones you don't see often

Yet live just around the corner

Are they sad?

Is that person who this is about?

Read this

And thing about your friends

I know there is one in your group

That doesn't fit in

One you almost never see

But talk to a lot

On email

On the phone

On IM

Is this her?

Did one of your best friends write this?

Is one of your own best friends crying inside?

Read this

And think of what it says

There might be someone like this right in front of your eyes

This is a TRUE story about a girl I know better then anyone. She's not my best friend. She's actually probably my worst enemy. But no matter how much I hate who she has become I wrote this for her. I wrote this as a letter/poem and sent it around as a chain letter. So copy it and paste it to an e-mail and send it around. Tell your friends about this. You never know, this could very well be about your best friend. After all, you don't know me and I don't know you. At least, not here. I could be anyone. I could ba a class mate for all you know. So keep in mind, that there are people like this everywhere. Even if you don't believe that this could be your best friend. Send this around. You never know, you could save a life. Because the girl who this story is about is thinkig of suicide and everyday it crosses her mind. Please, send this around, it may not be someone you know. But by you sending this, it could reach a girl who does need this help. Please, send it around. I'm litterally beging you here. It only takes a minute. The minute you take to send this message could be the minute you save a life.
