The One To Blame

My actions murdered
Our relationship status
So now I kneel here
Screaming at your gravestone whilst
People shake their heads and cry.

Authors Note: This is a tanka. It’s just an experiment. Actually for me to relate to this a significant degree, the situation would have to be swapped, meaning I was the one neglected, etc, but of course, as with all my poetry, it can be interpreted many ways if you just think! I was planning on putting this tanka in a future collection of poetry I’m planning to work on in the near future, but obviously that isn’t going to happen now.
