When it All Ended
Rio: This story was written by me and my big sissy Crystal shortened Cry. I’m Riot, shortened to Rio. This story was also created to show off my relationship with all my friends and how we got along. With one boy that kind of changes me sometimes as well in it. Cry is as herself, Briar is as a good friend I liked back in 7th grade named Devonte, Rose plays as Amy, a quite crazy friend of ours, Ama plays as our little sissy Gin(Christina), and Nicole plays as your good ol’ Rio!
Tab: Creepy isn’t it?
Ele: Let her start already! I want to read what it’ll be about!
Nic: -loads gun- We’re all anxious so continue Rio!
Rio: Okay, so let’s begin, I’ll put a new chapter every day, or try too. Because it’s written on paper so sorry if there’s any spelling mistakes, blame it on Cry. :P
Ele: Yes, blame it all on your older sister will you Rio.
Crystal was a thief, Briar was a sorcerer, Rose was a Traveler, Ama was an archer, and Nicole was a warrior in training. All of them were walking together.
Ama had a black hair pony tail, with a sash that tied it aside. A baggy shirt that covered her mid-drift. She was also carrying her bow with her quiver of arrows slung over her back.
Crystal had purple hair as long as her knees. She had a long jacket with many pockets in side. There were three pouches on her left hip filled with locks picks. She was wearing a tight fitting, tan colored shirt and a pair of baggy jeans. She had a scar going down her right eye down to her left cheek.
Briar had several pouches of potions, herbs, and magic powder to cast spells. He had a cloak around his shoulders covering himself from the slight sprinkle of rain. He wore pants that ended three inches after the knee, and long socks, both tan that met the pants after they ended. He also wore a belt, black that had a dark buckle. His cloak covered most of his tunic that was dark scarlet. With dark brown eyes that seemed endless.
Rose was quite tall, almost taller then the whole group. She had blue eyes and was smart but often wondered off and acted odd when everyone around here were talking serious. Rose had long braided hair that almost stopped at her hip. Her hair was blond with different colored hair bands that helped keep the hair braided.
Nicole had a dark red sash wrapped around her waist, sort of used as a belt. With a dagger hanging from her sash. Also wearing a dark red tunic that pressed tightly and loosely against her chest. Her chestnut hair barely touched her shoulders and three holes at the nape of her neck that marked she was a warrior.
Nicole continuously scratched her neck where the holes were while Rose skipped along down the road. Crystal stayed far wasy from the others, Ama rubbed her elvish ears, and Briar was walking along next to Nicole.
“Désod edo y?” Briar said soothingly to Nicole, his tongue rolling as he talked to her in the sorcery language. “I mean, how are you?”
Nicole didn’t answer. It had been five days since the great wizard had forbidden the life of Dragons in the land, and the use of magic in battle, which left Briar going to prison each time he did.
“Leave her alone you mage!” Ama shouted, making Rose stop skipping.
“I’m no mage! I’m a sorcerer! How many times do I have to tell you?” Briar shouted, reaching for a pouch at his hip as his anger got the better of him.
Nicole snuck away from the forthcoming fight towards Crystal who stayed silent. Her hopes set on getting Crystal to talk.
Briar started to pull out a poison herb and thought better of it. He charged after Ama, not wanting to use magic and get sent back to prison. Ama knocked him over and twisted his wrist in the process. Pleasant cracking of bone proceeded afterwards.
“Peace, we must have peace!” Rose shouted, pulling at Ama as she slammed her foot on Briar who lay helpless on the ground.
Briar got back up and pulled out another pouch that contained healing herbs. He crunched them with his other hand and sprinkled them onto his wrist, whispering words as he did so. The hand instantly straightened itself as the bone healed. By then Nicole and Crystal were farther up the road.
“Why don’t you talk much?” Nicole asked.
“I have my reasons.” Crystal replied shortly.
“I guess you can say we’re the same, I don’t talk much either.” Nicole said as she scratched her neck.
“Not necessarily.” Crystal shot back.
“Sorry.” Nicole apologized, thinking she offended her. “I wish that wizard was never in charge.”
“That wizard is sadly my brother.”
“That can’t be possible!” Nicole shouted, shocked. “How could that be?”
“Somehow, it is.”
“But -.” Nicole was cut off by screaming in the distance. She looked over at Crystal for a while but soon burst off into a run. She ran up the path that was at the base of a hill. As she got closer to the top she could see fire, which made her run faster. Sure enough, when she got to the top of the hill, she was utterly stunned.
There was a village with houses made out of hay and mud. The roofs were on fire. Warriors with four holes on their necks ran around the village killing people who fought back. Most of the warriors rode on Beakers. Beakers were horse type creatures that had a bird like body and were covered in brightly colored feathers.
One of the many Beakers, standing up straight up with two large talons in the ground had a green cloth over its eyes. There mounted on the Beaker’s back was the wizard himself.
Crystal caught up with Nicole and stood behind her, without catching Nicole’s attention. “Nicole, meet my power hungry, idiot, no good, killer, twin brother.” She said and then faced the wizard, glaring at him hatefully and spoke, even though he couldn’t hear. “Brother, meet Nicole.”
“We’ve met.” Nicole answered as she pulled out her dagger. She charged down the hill face towards the scorching village. Most of the warriors riding Beakers around and ran towards her. Nicole stopped and focused her dagger on the sunlight, sending a blinding shine at one of the Beakers. The Beaker screeched in pain and threw the warrior off it’s back.
Nicole ran towards the fallen warrior and shoved her dagger into his stomach, and pulled the dagger out. She twirled the small blade in her fingers and made a clean scar over the four holes on the neck of the warrior.
“Well, well, I thought I was the only one who had a temper.” Crystal remarked as Nicole tucked away her dagger and kicked the dead warrior’s body around.
The wizard pulled on his Beaker and trotted towards Nicole and Crystal who both glared at him. “Dear sister, how nice it is to see you.” The wizard looked to Nicole. “I see you brought an old of my friend along as well.”
“Old wizard!” Nicole shouted back. She reached down and grabbed hold of a large sword with a thick blade, the sword of the warrior she had just killed.
“Old? I’m quite young enough to finish you off.” He said, the wizard brought his hands up and begin to murmur something in the magic tongue.
“He’s going to launch a lightening bolt!” Nicole warned Crystal, understanding the ancient language.
“Tajma! Even though I don’t use it often, I know as much magic as you do and can counter easily!” Crystal remarked.
“Very well, you win.” The wizard said, smiling as he vanished in a blast of smoke.
Nicole coughed as the smoke billowed over to her and she covered her mouth and nose with her sleeve. “He got away!” she shouted.
All the warriors rode down the road where Nicole and Crystal had arrived from; the only thing left of the village was five Beakers and dead bodies. Nicole ran for one Beaker and looked into it’s eye. “Females are faster! Pick one out Crystal.” She shouted. The Beaker she was looking at had dark brown eyes so she moved to the next one.
The next Beaker Nicole went to had light orange eyes, so she climbed onto it’s back. “Watch the eye color! Dark eye color are males.” She said and bolted off down the road.
Indeed, the Beaker ran very fast. Crystal instantly climbed onto another female and chased after Nicole.
Rio: Oh blarg, it wasn’t bad was it?
Nic: So many errors, it doesn’t make any sense.
Tab: Yeah, how’d they get together?
Rio: Stop it!! Stop pestering me for questions! Everything will come into view later on, later on in the story it explains how they all ran into each other. Now stop bothering me and wait for the next chapter!
Ele: I can’t wait!!! Don’t make us wait long! Start typing it up now and then put it up tomorrow so we won’t have to wait!
Rio: Fine! Just stop bothering me! It’s your entire fault Cry, you made it confusing!
Tab: Nicely done Rio, what a proud writer you must be. Now go back to your corner and start typing!
Rio: Noes!!!! –gets pushed into corner-
