We play this game for hours or days,
The only rule that we can't use our wings.
A race of sorts, a competition,
For fun and pride, not loss.
I've won this round, they all can tell,
For I've reached my perch already.
They struggle, and I see some of them cheat,
But no matter, for I have won.
I sit upon my red daisy and smile,
And watch my playmates pull themselves up.
We all climb red daisies,
For the trees are too big for us.
