Well, here I go, I'm failing once again.
Once more I'll eat until the pain is numb.
Drown deep in sorrow's swift, if fleeting, balm,
Forget my cares in sweet, though bitter, calm.

But still I can't ignore the stabbing guilt,
Although I know tomorrow I'll be strong.
Tomorrow I will starve away this sin.
One day is all it takes - but the day's so long.

But I know I'll make it somehow.
I know I must.
