I warned you, this is just some ranting, and there's also language use in this poem. I wrote this so long ago on my myspace blog and just found it. Enjoy!

Genocide?

"Never again!" We say.

"How stupid!" I say.

Because we make false promises about these things.

We promised, no more genocide,

But I saw, they are still there.

We are stupid animals,

cursed with this stupidity,

cursed with ignorance.

Don't call me crazy,

when people are dying in Sudan.

I admit, I don't do much,

but why aren't the top ones doing anything?

Just pushing peace troops to usher the Government to stop

their useless genocide?

Fuck no.

Like they care.

Why not send our troops to make an invasion?

Oh, yeah. I forgot.

We're at war.

For nothing.

When we could've done things,

for something.

Why aren't we saving lives?

Why are we fucking with the muslims?

Fundamentalist religion is an evil bullet,

wasted on innocent minds,

corrupted by ignorant assholes,

bringing blood and bone everywhere.

Come, my friends,

put down the swords,

put up the crosses

and the bibles and the korans.

Let us hold each other hands

to brainstorm similarities

like kindergarteners,

since we obviously act like a bunch of fucking babies these days.
