He reminded you of toothpaste.
Necessary but tiresome,
Peppermint that cooled your breath, made it visible in the air as you buried your hands in your pockets.
But its 5 pm & your wondering why no two snowflakes are the same
alone, alone, alone you think as you bite your pen, an effort to solve all your problems
He opens the door. Covers you in frostbite, keeps you s.h.i.v.e.ring & fragile as you wrap yourselves in blankets & his inadequacies
-He leaves you cold & alone like you always knew he would
Wondering when winter will end, take with it the bitter taste in your mouth.
(I think it must be disappointment)
