Reverie

the corner holds my contemplation my dreams my hopes my cold temptations/the sun sees only shadows from a tired magic wand/another moment cannot find me in my psychiatric reverie/dulling stars are all around me but my hand grasps empty air/

my legs are broken underneath me in this place colder than death could be/the chase goes on and on and on and on my mind will find me here/terrible things I know I never knew tell me and I learn to think it true/there is so much hidden in this ground the soil digs itself/

one wall meets the other meets the other meets the other/that wall meets the other and it will go on/and it will go on/and it will go on for me

this daydream is a nightmare day after day the ones that I loved once go away/don’t hurt me yet don’t touch me now I know someday it will win/my arms, held fast to my side have stayed no matter what my demons tried/untried creations of those distorted crawl the cold wet floor/

(heartbeat) XX XX XX XX XX XX XX

one wall meets the other meets the other meets the other/that wall meets the other and it will go on/and it will go on/and it will go on for me

get me out of here (out, out, out)

I can’t stand this hell (oh, no more)

don’t make me live (oh, not like this)

don’t make me die (not like this)

I have to get out (out, out, out)

but I have nowhere (no where) to go (to go)

but back (back, back, back, back, here)

one wall meets the other meets the other meets the other/that wall meets the other and it will go on/and it will go on/and it will go on for me
