Memories

Sighing deeply, I think back

To the past two wonderful years

Where you and I have been together

I remember all the happy times we had

Shared, including the time we went Southend

And had a fun time on every ride

However I also remember the sad times

When we used to have rows, staying up

All night and not talking to each other

But you would always make it up

In bed as we made passionate love

And I couldn’t walk properly in the mornings

My gaze settled upon a photo of us

Look how happy we are together
