Light hit his skin and illuminated everything about him, and everything about him was beautiful. It hurt to watch, literally, an ache spread through my chest, constricting my lungs, but it was a stunningly lovely kind of pain. As much as I was pleading with myself to do so, I couldn't take my eyes away from him as he lay idly, surrounded by a dream like field. His eyes were closed gently, and a hint of a soft smile played at the corner of his lips.
I sighed in exasperation, I was transfixed, and there was nothing I could do. Trading my vision of him, for being close, I positioned my body next to his, crushing down the tall grass around me.
My hand delicately trailed over to him, tracing the lines on his upturned palm as I let my eyes fall closed. Before I even noticed a difference, his lips were pressed to my throat as my breath hitched. They were cold, but something undeniably passionate was lurking below them, below the icy skin that sent waves of shock through my body.
I was slipping, I could feel myself going, I couldn't think coherently with him so close, and yet I was desperate to be closer.
