(Certainty)

There are few things in life
One can ever be certain of,
The uncertainties of life
Are things that shouldn’t be dwelt upon,

One thing that I’ll say
That is absolutely for certain,
Is that I’ll stay by your side
Whether you’re happy or hurting,

Through times of hardship
Or times of great joy,
I’ll always be there
Even when you annoy,

You’re like my family
Don’t ever forget,
Families stay tight
So don’t even fret,

We may have our fights
Our quarrels and tiffs,
But our friendship is made stronger
Because of it,

Our friendship is something
You should never doubt,
And the possibility of losing it
Don’t even think about,

I’m not going anywhere
Whatever you say,
We could fight and not talk
And still, I won’t go away.

That is the mark
Of friendship at its best,
When it can stand up
To every trial and test,

Our friendship is something
That is never uncertain,
Don’t ever forget it
Or you’ll be in for a hurting.
