A Night On The Moon

Sail
Keep sailing
Fail
Keep failing

Floating down into the cold
Your fingers are blue
As are your lips
And I feel them
Trying to hold on
To what’s there
It's hard to see when you focus
On what’s not here

A night up here
To view the self-destruction
Look over there;
No obstruction

And you sit and stare down
The blue turns to black
And green is not coming back
And I can see you
Far up there
Are you grinning?
We need help, come on down
It's falling apart

A night on the moon
To see us from the outside
A night on the moon
I'll see you soon

Fall
Keep falling
Land
Where to land?
