When I Lost My Sanity
Endless lives and rings of light
Broadened leaves and novas bright
Songbirds take off into their flight
When I lost my sanity
I saw what my heart denied
I lost what I had wished to be
Until the death shadow appeared in glee
It was then that I lost my sanity
From the forest thickets it came to me
Promised eternal tranquility
Took its hand and then it knew
The demon had my sanity
Rivers climbing up a mountain
Water gushes into its fountain
Gone were the troubles of this world
The day I lost my sanity
Fool and sensibility entwine
Which is right and which is mine?
No longer wrapped in life’s death binds
As I lose my sanity
And as the pillars fall away
In the cloud of dust and clay
There I stand, I stand alone
Amidst the rubble I called home
Free as I am, I go without
The burdens of my sanity
