It’s ten and one

on the coast,

I swear to god—

I’m sick of these

invisible standards.—

the treetop seashells/sea hells.

-

Come at midnight,

when boredom is at its

finest.

Come at midnight,

with a copper wire and a plug-in.

-

“How do you do?”

says the bomb just waiting

to drop.

“I’m fine, and you?”

says the plug-in just ready

to short.

-

It’s ten and one on the coast,

I swear to god.

-

Come at midnight,

when boredom is at its

finest.

Come at midnight,

with a copper wire and a plug-in.

-

‘Cause baby,

Brown Eyes don’t cry.

No—no Brown Eyes don’t cry.-

-

No—no Brown Eyes don’t cry.

-

It’s ten and one on the coast,

and Brown Eyes still

don’t cry.
