This was an assignment for English class to write a meaningless poem. I think I failed in that respect, but it's a better poem for it.

Soon
Train
your eye
To
catch the falling
Star
that is sure to be falling
Soon.
It is a comet
With
a tail of dust
And
that is where you will be
Returning
soon. You will need a shovel
To
get there, no train can take you there
And
besides you don't have a ticket
And
he soon will be collecting
Them.
There have been many stars
In
your life but none brighter than the Sun
That
will set soon. The work of the day
Is
nearly finished; lay aside the shovel
And
take up the fish
That
will consume you soon. Don't miss
Your
chance, for there is only one
You
will have
And
it will have soon passed. Darkness
Is
falling, and so is the star, and so shall you
Soon.
