You've misled me, struck me down,

Broke my heart and led me round.

Lied, abused, and infuriated,

Never told me what you hated.

How you couldn't stand to talk,

With me, or even take a walk.

You'd flee, and never stick around,

To see, just why I was so down.

And now you treat me dreadfully,

Just friends? Friendship I do not see,

Your ends? To simply use me for,

errands. And then you left me poor.

Poor of love, and poor of heart,

Poor of soul, and the worst part;

Now you've left me afraid to trust,

You've covered my heart with a sheen of rust.
