America is a Battlefield

I want sometimes to weep,

For the disastrous crash flow

Of our nation;

The serious impacts that our borrowing,

Stealing, stifling does

To other countries stint in rehab from

Juggling modernization with the renovating barracks

Of cultural revitalization;

Doing nothing to repair the

Estranged accusations of penny-pinching

Corporations out to kill a half-trillion

People for the betterment of mankind,

Backed by the non-partisan votes and ignorance

Of the American people.

After all what scientists have done,

Must have been screen tested

And the government is strictly business,

So why should they question these things?

Meanwhile, the on-set sources strategically placed

In the republic of the Marshall Islands,

Continues to ignore the devastation

Of its people, crying out for a global conference

Set anywhere; Washington…Chicago…

To get reparation for the people we sent to death

Through our nuclear testing;

To three islands,

Where the only people residing on them

Live in cemeteries;

Beautifully and completely silent,

Unable to speak the stories,

To the battlefields brewing

From the American people’s stupidity;

From people who surly would aid

The cultures they’ve devastated if they

Knew the truths their government denies them.
