Honesty

OceansAway

You say you’re thinking of love

You say you feel sentimental

Your, music, your writing and me

I stay quiet, shocked

You can’t imagine all the butterflies

But you apologize, for loving me

For honestly loving me

-

Talking of honesty

Let’s turn around and look at me

What a jumbled mess I am

I barely can tell what I feel

All I know

Is that I honestly love you

-

They are thinking of hatred

They say that you are a jerk

Always rational, too quiet

I cry silent, hurt

You can’t imagine how you are tearing me

You tongues are like razors, tearing at him

Shredding him in front of me

-

Talking of honesty

Let’s turn around and look at me

What a jumbled mess I am

I barely can tell what I feel

All I know

Is that I honestly love you

-

I try to arrange my words

But I come up with a mess

I suppose I should figure me out

Before I start talking

But in all honesty, I think I love you…

I thought that you might like to know that soon

When I throw caution to the winds

-

Talking of honesty

Let’s turn around and look at me

What a jumbled mess I am

I barely can tell what I feel

All I know

Is that I honestly love you

-

Let me throw caution to the winds

And honestly tell you

That I love you

Let them fade into the background

And talk in all honesty…
