I saw through the portal today

The window to the alternate.

It’s frustrating really.

I like where I’m at,

And I guess I get use to not

Knowing where I’m going.

Its challenging, surprising and ultimately

Worth it.

But when I see what could have been

And reminisce,

With partial jealousy and then mature realism…

Why can’t I just completely realise this?
