How to Play a Video Game the Right Way

Are you one of those people who must look at a controller when ever they attempt a video game? Are you constantly getting a ‘GAME OVER’ or a ‘K.O.’ when you thought you were doing pretty well? Then maybe it is time to sit back and take a look at your technique. Most likely, you have seen teenagers who have obtained the aptitude, the gift if you will, to not only play the game, but ‘beat it’ within a few hours. How do they do it? It is very simple! They follow the laid-back system of ‘MURDER’.

First of all, you must Maintain your position. If you begin to move your entire body with the controller, this way and that, you will lose focus and could easily lose the game. And don’t forget to Utter nothing! How will you comprehend what fiend or how many cops are coming at you, if you are talking to others? When playing any sort of video game, your attention must be entirely on the screen or you will never be a pro.

Next is Remember the controls. Spend a few hours or so, simply trying to memorize the different buttons, and get used to the feel of them in your hands. Try to see if you can remember them with out actually looking at them. This is one of the most important parts of game playing! Have friends and family quiz you until you have perfected all the buttons, including start and select.

When in the process of playing, Don’t forget to save! This is another very important part of this strategy. If you forget to save, you could end up having to beat a really hard boss or race again, and as fun as it was the first time, it usually loses its joy. Even worse would be having to start the entire game over again! So never forget to save!

Video games are Entirely for fun, so if you feel yourself on the verge of crying, take a short break and watch T.V. for a half hour before continuing. The pause (start) button is your friend! And lastly, make it a daily Ritual to practice! Because as they say, practice makes perfect.

All in all, it can be said that enjoying a video game requires one to follow the simple and complete steps of MURDER. Review the steps and practice, practice, practice.
