Roses Never Grow Alone

Ice roads curve mother of pearl

Rivers carve, blunt knives in clay

Stones at the bottom: tears

Subway surfing with eyes shut

Concrete

Forrest

The ground is warm, Alive

Mud, Blood, Birth

Potatoes

Her skin; soft, moist, grass

Rhythms, Sex, Life and Death

Concrete- a canvas

Forrest- a trap

Her blood gently crushed

Pressed and twisted

Her breast

Oozing life

Her nipples to my mouth

Soft and moist like grass

Sexual, Seductive

His hand in mine

We stand on her skin

Roses never grow alone

Her smell

Sent beaming

Screaming

Streaming

The loft

The barn

The book

The creek

The alfalfa

The tree

The ocean

The honey

Death
