Tired Desperation

Years have gone by
And I've never seen the sun
These walls
They block you all
And hide me well

From behind them,
I've watched my life go by
Seen chances flee
After hours of knocking
To no avail

These walls stay strong
With foundation from youth
No cracks
No chance of entrance
I can't escape

I lost the key long ago
Forgot the way out of maze
I'm stuck here
Watching opportunities pass
Growing more lonely

But I'm tired for being pale
I want to know the sun's warmth
Emergency plan
Tear it all down
Demolition and destruction

Cause I'm tired of tantalizing light
I want to know it
I want to know you
I'm not hiding anymore
My walls are gone
