Rooted Purpose

The seed is set in the soil

Sunlight feeds and illuminates the earth

Rain showers over the land washing impurity away

And gives the seed a reason to grow

A talent I was given, set in my soul

My life and thoughts made me aware of my seed

His advice wash away insecurity, bruises, and sorrow

He inspires me to open my mouth and grow

I grow fruit for him and give the best to him

I can express my soul for him and thank him

Just like he planted those seeds and created forests

He set a talent and created my purpose

A purpose I graciously follow.
