So, here's an update. Grrr...stupid midterms. I really feel like they're ruining my writing ability.

Mini-Disclaimer: Don't own Scrubs.

“What kind of trouble?” Taro asked casually, rubbing his eyes sleepily. “Last I saw him was… when he was helping some kid with his bags.”

“Well he’s not anymore,” Rachel said. “He’s in the Infirmary.”

“There’s an Infirmary?”

“Taro!”

“Sorry.” Taro rubbed his eyes again, trying to focus. “What happened to him?”

“I don’t know,” Rachel said. “He’s unconscious. The nurse said he lost a lot of blood!”

“Oh God,” Taro muttered. “Can we see him?”

“Yeah,” Rachel said. “That’s why I came to get you. Let’s go.” Rachel grabbed Taro by the wrist and led him down the stairs, and then down a long corridor. At the end there were two large doors with a large red cross on them. Rachel burst through the doors like a woman in a soap opera whose husband was dieing. “Ryan!” she called.

The Infirmary was yet another thing Taro could add to the list of things about Chronos Academy that look just like Harry Potter. It was a huge room; big enough for Rachel’s voice to echo when she called Ryan’s name. There were about twenty beds all lined up, and there was a TV on the wall. A tall, thin woman sat at a desk in the corner looking down at some paperwork. Only one bed was occupied, and that was Ryan’s. Ryan was sitting upright in his bed watching the TV. He had a large, white (with a blood red stain) bandage on his head.

“Rachel,” Ryan called. “I’m alive!”

“What happened to you?” Taro asked as he and Rachel rushed over to his bed. “Last I saw you was when you were helping that Johnny kid with his bags.”

“Yeah, it was actually pretty ironic. I got pushed down the stairs,” Ryan explained. Rachel gasped.

“By Johnny?” Taro asked.

“No, by the kid I pushed down the stairs. The kid from Rhode Island.”

“Are you okay?” Taro asked.

“Yeah, but I’m a little sore,” Ryan answered. He looked over at the nurse who was currently watching the TV. “Hey, Nurse Tisdale, can I have my pain killers yet?”

“You know the rule,” the nurse said in a scolding tone. Ryan rolled his eyes.

“’Nurse Tisdale doesn’t work while Scrubs is on,’” Ryan recited. “I know the rule. I can go without the painkillers for now, anyway. Help me up.” Rachel let Ryan lean on her as he climbed slowly out of the bed, obviously in pain.

“You sure you don’t need painkillers?” Rachel asked, in slight pain herself from the much taller boy leaning on her. “I’m sure Scrubs will be over soon.”

“I think I need some after all,” Ryan said, wincing in pain. “See that pill bottle on her desk? I think she was planning to give it to me after Scrubs. Grab it for me, would you T?” Taro walked over to Nurse Tisdale’s desk and grabbed what he thought was a bottle of painkillers and tossed it to Ryan, who caught it.

“Thanks,” he said. He called to Nurse Tisdale that he was leaving, but she was too wrapped up in Scrubs to notice anything. As they walked (or limped, in Ryan’s case) into the foyer, they saw that all the new students were walking around, presumably getting ready for class. Ryan, Rachel, and Taro all gasped when they saw them.

Taro decided that if he were to describe the new students in one word, it would be…developed. All of the students were extremely developed and attractive. The girls were slim and slender in all the right places, they were tall, but not too tall, and they all had very red lips. The guys were all very tall, and fairly muscular. They all had thinner lips than the girls, but they were still, curiously, very red. The transfer teens felt a strange mix of happiness when the saw the new students of the opposite sex, and inferiority when they saw the new students of the same sex. They walked Ryan up the stairs in silence, and when they saw that there were no new students upstairs, they began talking.

“Wow, the new students are…” Taro started.

Yeah,” Rachel sighed. “Wow.

“Ryan, if Rhode Island is in there, are you going to –” Taro started before he bumped painfully into a girl that seemed to appear out of nowhere. He shut his eyes and winced in pain.

“Sorry!” he heard a feminine Irish accent say. When Taro opened his eyes he thought he was seeing double, before he realized that it was two completely identical girls. They both had long, wavy blonde hair, big, bright blue eyes, and they were even wearing a matching green shirt and denim skirt. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah,” Taro said, a little stunned by how identical the girls were. “I should have looked where I was going.”

“It’s nothing,” the girl said. “I wasn’t even hurt. I’m Eve Westenra, and this is my sister, Mina.”

“Pleased to meet you,” Mina said, speaking for the first time. “My sister is so clumsy sometimes!”

“No, it was my fault,” Taro insisted. “I’m Taro.”

“Interesting name,” Eve commented. “Well, I see that your friend is in pain.” She gestured to Ryan and Rachel, whom Taro had forgotten all about. “I’ll let you get into your dorm.” With that, Eve and Mina turned around and walked over to another dorm, which they disappeared inside of. Their walk, like everything else, was identical.

“Skank,” Rachel muttered as soon as they were out of earshot.

“Hater,” Ryan muttered back. Rachel moved out from under him, causing him to fall on the floor. Taro helped him up, and with a quick goodbye to Rachel, helped him into the dorm room. The dorm room had about fifteen guys in it, but they were all over by the TV watching Stan do some kind of trick with a quarter and an egg.

Ryan sat on his bed and eagerly popped open the pill bottle, putting a few pills in his mouth and swallowing them. “Hopefully this’ll help,” he muttered, dropping the bottle to the ground. The bottle rolled until it came to a stop at Taro’s feet. Taro bent over and picked it up, looking at the label.

“Uh, how many of these did you take?” Taro asked.

“Two,” Ryan said, leaning back on the bed. “Why?”

“They’re not painkillers.” Ryan jolted upright.

“What? What are they?”

“It says…Vamprocillin – F.”

Mini-Disclaimer: Don't own the term 'Vamprocillin'. I stole it from one of my friends' video games (The Sims 2).

I had to describe guys as attractive in this chapter...it was kind of strange, but it had to be done. "The girls were georgous and the guys were average" just didn't sound right.

I thew in a few more Dracula references (I took Mina Harker and Lucy Westenra and combined their names...don't know where I got Eve from).
