the siren of my soul
by: poetic abortion (10/14/2007, 12:30 AM)
.
.
queen Mab, queen of dreams, siren of my soul
why won't you speak to me in the language of
the night? (mercutio, your most beloved, has
died today)
when will you speak in the language of the night again
when will you, if ever, come to me in the dreams you
weave and rule over the hand of the night (the moon,
watching, waiting for the sun) when will you speak to
me in the language that you and I can only speak to
one another in our lover's tongue; when shall you
speak and call me the (love-)fool?
(do not tell me that it will never be)
.

author's note -
Inspired heavily by Elizabeth: the Golden Age. It's not the best that I have written but I promised myself to post something new, which this is.
