Alone

I’m lost and alone

There’s no one to hold

The fears roam around

Freely on the ground

I’m alone in the darkness

Where words could hurt me

No light to be found

There isn’t even a sound

Down in my heart

I know it’s smart

There’s an empty space

That’s need to be filled

I feel cold

As life unfolds

When I try move forward

I’m going backward

As tears fall down my face

I don’t feel strong

If only I knew

Or even have a clue

That there’s someone out there

Who even cares

But is there anyone?

All I can do is hope and dream

But not to the exterme

That there’s someone out there

That is willing to hold me

And not let go
