Painful, empty memories

Falling swiftly to the street

Drifting down until they meet

Combining and I shiver

There never was a colder winter

Emotions no longer sit and simmer

My heart has now begun to splinter

Forever so alone.

As beautiful as death

Which rings so clearly in my mind

It takes hold to my breath

I cannot let it fall behind

“Remember now,” it says to me

The past becomes my master

Tears swell as I sit and watch

This beautiful disaster.

A/N: And just so you know, the lines are to seperate the stanzas.
