Life's like a flame

Some bright

Some dim

None ever quite the same

For each flicker

Is a change

Something old to new

Leaving a different orange or blue

Some burn slow

Some quick

You never know

It just depends on the wick

For each flame

Is someones hold

Strong or weak

Their never the same

For some are bright and bold

Always losing control

Those dark and dim

Sway to time never losing hold

For each flame

Bright or bold

Dark or dim

Are never quite the same
