Always Wanting

Faith, hope, and love

Given without question

But never enough

For there's always someone

Needing and searching for more

Never seeing or caring

Always wanting what's behind

Some other door

Never caring to see

What they've lost

Until its to late

Leaving them nothing to do

Except to bemoan their fate

For in their quest

They given up their chance

To all the rest

For in their wanting and needing of more

They've destroyed

The faith, hope and love

Of all before
