God's Leasons

Tears, Fears

Sadness, and pain

Pour into my life

Like the rain

It seems God just hit me with everything

From tears of a lonely soul

Which aches to be whole

To tears of a broken heart

Which was evilly torn apart

Along with fears of never being able to love again

After losing my confadante, my lover, my friend

But I always seem to bounce back

Overcoming what I thought would hold me down

God's lessons

That taught me things

Like how to love

And all the joy it brings

Of holding on and letting go

And how not to hate my foe

The lessons learned

By being burned

Taught me not to be afraid of making mistakes

Just of how many times it takes
