Men and women

Fathers and mothers

Sisters and brothers

Sons and daughters

Innocent lives lost

Is our cost

So we can leave free

And live our lives the way

We want them to be

But is it worth the price we pay

So inconsiderate people can have their way

As it leaves mothers and fathers

With empy arms and childless

Sons and daughters fatherless

With no one to guide thier way

The prices we pay

So our nation can be free
