The Changes In Me

Things are not what the use to be

Times, and people have changed

And so have I

From the person you use to know and see

I've changed inside

And that person has died

For the things I've learned

Taught me to be proud of who I am

I was tired of trying to hide

And being ashamed of the things I had to see

But all thoses things

Had a hand in making me

For what doesn't kill you

Makes you stronger

So I've learned not to be ashamed

And not to hide any longer

I don't question why

For I was never to receive the answers

And realized while trying to be perfect for you

I was breaking my heart in two

For the changes in me

Has made realize

That I am just perfect

For me
