Not All Angels Have Wings

I use to believe

That all angels had wings

So when I was scared and I use to pray

I asked God to send me

An angel with wings

To help me along the way

But now I have met so many

Traveling the path of life

And had friends of the plenty

Which most would run at any sign of a strife

The ones who choose to stay

Gave me quite a surprise

And touched me deep inside

That someone would stay

To listen and see

And try to understand

What had a hand

In making me, me

Which made me believe

Not all angels have wings
