Sweet Release of the Perfect Storm

--

The storm begins…

The wind whips across my face in the dark

And my eyes close lovingly against its embrace.

I can only raise my hands to the sky and ignore the hurt that spawns from my heart

Where has all the honesty gone?

Perhaps I’ll never understand the way the world works

But I know that I shall not endure this anymore…

--

Elusive grin and pained expression

Frozen upon me without warning

The life that has befallen me is so unsatisfying…

--

Hush, sweetheart,

I’m here.

Can’t you see how

I made this for you?

Everything about me aches for you.

--

And I give this,

my perfect storm,

to assuage the demon of lust who plagues me

Over you.
