Christian’s Soliloquy
My mind is begging “no more,”
My soul is crying “sin.”
My heart won’t say much better,
But the horrid still gets in.
My lips speak unknown languages,
My eyes are good as blind.
My feet can’t find directions
And my head just won’t unwind.
A prayer will give protection;
Two hands not as good as four.
We battle now for purity,
It’s me and sin at war.
