o. o. o. o. o. o.

With the rays of sun slowly getting stronger,

April finally makes an appearance.

The heat slowly draws out the college student,

Hidden so long in a hibernation of books and all-nighters.

Though a strong, cold wind reminds her of the winter

That is still loathe to leave,

She cannot help but strain to feel the yellow warmth through her modest layers

And dream of summers spent in Puerto Rico,

White sands beneath her feet.
