graphite scripts lovely stories
silvery, precise strokes all over
smooth white empty pages
dreamily gliding
spelling hopes, wishes,
nightmares, and pains
dust polluting the air through rage,
but every piece of graphite
perfectly on the page through joy;
collages of words beginning to come to life
unsung melodies are scripted
through simple styles and metaphors
written in a plain color
graphite writes the story you're reading
although just simple gray lines,
gray lines don't mean gray lives portrayed
gray doesn't mean dark, bland or boring
gray is just the beginning and the end
the writing without your imagination
graphite etched into this page
my life on display
an open book for you to read
enjoy, trash or burn
graphite millimeter lines are writing stories
poems, plays and songs
the beautiful sounds of my life.
