Winter

Will you kiss my soul,

And set me free

Break the bonds

Of my captivity.

囚禁

A shadow long has passed

O’er the fragments of my soul

You touch, a steady beam of light

The Son is what I need.

I tried to hide the pieces

Tucked away inside of me

Clinging to the brokenness

It was all that I could see.

But now the last leaf is falling

I’m laying it down to rest

For it’s in the winter graveyard

That life can start afresh.
