I wake up in the morning with a catatonic taste in my mouth
and no reply can seep from my lips
because you're gonegoneaway
and each night a new variation
of the same fear flashes on my eyes

Insomniac Schizophrenia is my name(s)
since you leave me each night
with sleep tears raining like autumn leaves
surrounding me in a tornado as if I'm catastrophes magnet
and I wish I knew why every morning you're there
but every time my eyes close
your hand is laced in hers

Because when you talk it's like a JulySong
how summertime promises fly from your lips
and your eyes are paisley, since they never agree
on the same color and all they do is separate
those green, yellow, blue shapes for irises
is just a reassurance for the daytime
but he's like a novocaine for me
and each kiss makes me sleep a bit easier
until dreams are my undoing

But we're falling away because
Schizophrenic Relationships
are like a moth to a flame
where you just get burned in the end

How am I to know that today isn't my premonitions truth
Where every fear meets at the crossroads
and I take the fork in the path that doesn't have my name on it
But I wish you would kiss me goodnight one last time
so maybe I won't wake up feeling I'm underground
But don't fix me when I'm not broken yet

And electric butterflies flip through me
because every idea of us is coming to the finale
and I want applause for a happy ending
because that's all I really need
Lovers by day and Heartbreak by night
I can't take my Jeckyl Hyde syndrome any longer

But we're falling away because
Schizophrenic Relationships
are like a moth to a flame
where you just get burned in the end
