When they're nearly alike and a
simple match, they easily attach
by sharing a single electron
Covalency fails to mingle a
distant difference. Takes more
than instant electrical tingles to
chain a change between two things.
(Ionic, iconic and often catastrophic.)
It takes two of you and three of me
to enact our unique identity. Alone,
I'm odd but stable. Small and simple
but essential to your existence.
Filtration, distillation or any other
means of separation wouldn't render
our prior states. Though it's a tasty
blend we made. Mix was a fix for
an unbalanced equation. With you I'm
